Honor System virus

CATEGORY: Joke virus alerts (not considered hoaxes)

An obvious joke, author unknown. An email will say "this virus works on the honor system. Please forward this message to everyone you know, then delete all the files on your hard disk. Thank you for your cooperation."

Numerous variant jokes sprang up based on this simple bit of humor. One of best knock-offs calls it the "Amish virus."
