Viruses and "False Authority Syndrome"
Urban legend:
the "Good Times" virus
MYTH:
the FCC has discovered a virus which infects your computer if you
read a message with "Good Times" or some other evil phrase
in the subject line. Simply reading the message with your eyeballs
will destroy your computer's processor by setting it into an "nth
complexity infinite binary loop."
Ironically,
well-meaning computer users often include the phrase "Good
Times" (or one of the other evil phrases) in the subject line
of their message when alerting others!
