Sunday, 27 January 2002 Rob Rosenberger's 1/27/02 column mentioned a "suicidal pig" in The Restaurant at the End of the Universe. The book actually calls it "a large dairy animal ... a large fat meaty quadruped of the bovine type." The animal even "mooed" and "chew[ed] the cud." Vmyths thanks trivia buffs Matthew C. Bylsma, Cormac Duncan, and Ian Whalley (WildList) for first noticing the swine/bovine mixup.
