10/8/99 corrections

  1. Reader Mark Hull-Richter noticed Rob Rosenberger's editorial said "peaked" instead of "captured" in a quote from a ZDNN story. Rosenberger apparently didn't use a simple cut-and-paste operation.
  2. Rob Rosenberger should have said "Sarah Gordon (WildList)" rather than "Sarah Gordon (IBM)." He felt he made the correct identification at the time because Gordon and the WildList have multiple ties to IBM. However, Gordon claims IBM did not pay for nor reimburse her trip to the Virus Bulletin conference where she spoke to Lemos.
  3. Sarah Gordon told Rob Lemos the WildList would look into it, not IBM. She did not commit IBM to anything.
